Polymer Single Crystals (Phillip H. Geil)
Polymer Single Crystals was the first monograph describing the morphology of (primarily) crystalline polymers after the discovery of polymer chain folding in the middle 1950s. Although it is now more than 40 years since its publication, much is still relevant. For this version original micrographs for most of the figures were scanned and inserted; extra figures were inserted in some cases that had been retained in the author's files. Permission to reproduce the figures in textbooks, reviews and educational material is granted by the author, with suitable attribution to the source. The book was originally published by Interscience-Wiley in 1963.
