Welcome to the Research Connection

The Research Connection is an exciting collaboration between the Akron Global Polymer Academy and the researchers of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering at The University of Akron. Together, we want to highlight and feature the ground-breaking, new polymer research that's happening here in Akron, OH, and bring it to your classroom.

Through interviews with polymer research faculty, we provide real perspectives of "how" and "why" these scientists do what they do. Along with these interviews, we provide video demonstrations straight from the labs here at UA, so you can view and experience a working lab from the safety of your clasroom. You'll also find lesson plans to help integrate the hands-on excitement of these demonstrations with your science curriculum.
